The IARU region 1 triennial General Conference, hosted by BFRA, our Bulgarian Member Society will take place 21-26 September 2014 in Albena.
At General Conferences IARU Region 1 takes major decisions on the future of amateur radio and determines the way ahead on with administrative, operational, technical and financial matters.
We will also elect our Executive Committee, Working Group Chairmen and Coordinators.
The presence of Member Societies is essential for the success of the conference.
I hope that all of them will be represented in Albena.

Dear Friends,
On behalf of BFRA I want to assure you that we will do our best to organize this highest IARU Region 1 forum – the General Conference. Until now we’ve organized successfully multiple IARU events.

I hope that the General Conference will take important decisions for development and prosperity of radio amateurism.
